I’m Molly McNamara of San Jose, California. I’m a late convert to endurance sports, having picked up distance running in my late 20′s. I would probably still be running marathons only if I hadn’t had the brilliant idea of doing a triathlon on the morning of my wedding reception, nearly 4 years ago. Despite a rough first outing, I was hooked on the sport and dove into training!
I’ve completed races ranging from sprint to Ironman distance and look forward to toeing the line at Ironman Arizona this year (to be preceded by some sprints, several Olympics and a 1/2).
I discovered Recovery e21 in the late stages of training for a 1/2 IM last year and my enthusiasm for it has only grown this year as my training and racing have taken off. When I’m not swimming, biking or running, I am an analytical chemist and an avid dog agility/sheep herding/obedience trainer and handler for my 2 bearded collies.
